A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Georgetown, Kentucky, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves working primarily during the day shift within a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility, providing essential support in medication verification and preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of medications prior to packaging and delivery.
- Scan each medication item to ensure precise tracking within the Frameworks system (training provided).
- Sort and place verified medications into designated receptacles according to delivery schedules.
- Perform re-scans after placement to confirm correct placement within the facility.
- Securely bag medications, maintaining the integrity of packaging to avoid damage.
- Assist in various pharmacy areas as directed by the Production Manager.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Rotating weekends
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician License
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Excellent attendance record
