A contract opportunity is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding. This role requires Monday through Friday availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an assignment duration of at least 8 weeks. The workload is low volume, supported by one pharmacy technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customized sterile medications, including IV fluids, in a controlled environment using strict aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Verify sterile preparation accuracy and quality.
- Enforce compliance with USP and USP standards.
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians during compounding activities.
- Maintain cleanroom equipment and perform final inspections to meet safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience is required.
- Active and clear Pharmacy license in Pennsylvania.
- Competent computer skills to manage documentation and compounding records.
