We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a reputable pharmacy operation in Illinois. This role requires a minimum six-month commitment before conversion to permanent employment. The position offers a stable weekday schedule and hands-on responsibilities in sterile compounding and limited PSR functions.
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Duties:
• Perform sterile compounding in the clean room
• Support product preparation and quality processes
• Conduct limited PSR duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with USP standards and facility protocols
• Maintain clean room workflows and documentation accuracy
Requirements:
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB Certification (Required)
• At least 2 years of solid sterile compounding experience strongly preferred
• Ability to meet the required 6-month contract period prior to permanent hire
• Pay is dependent on experience
