Design Engineer – Full-Time, Onsite (5 Days/Week)

What You’ll Do

• Develop and refine product designs using sound engineering principles and creative problem-solving
• Collaborate with offshore engineering teams to move designs from prototype → production
• Evaluate materials, performance, and regulatory compliance
• Work with suppliers to ensure accurate execution of design intent
• Partner with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to improve product outcomes
• Recommend improvements that enhance performance, reduce cost, or streamline manufacturing
• Provide production support and troubleshoot design-related issues
• Interpret customer specs and create solid models for concept reviews
• Conduct design verification to ensure quality and standards compliance
• Create or refine 3D models and photorealistic renderings for presentations and artwork

What You Bring

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–3 years of product design experience (internships/co-ops count!)
• Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Clear, confident communication skills
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo or SolidWorks); KeyShot/Photoshop a plus
• Highly organized with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
