What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at RPC Video, Inc.?
This entry-level position offers hands-on training with access to industry-provided learning opportunities through on-line and in-person training sessions. The position provides growth potential into various areas of audiovisual technology such as system design and CAD drawing work, audio and/or control system programming as well as potential installation lead.
Other responsibilities and requirements:
· On-site system troubleshooting including effective communication with manufacturers to initiate return materials authorizations
· Basic control programming or loading control programs
· Basic network understanding including routers, switches and wireless connectivity
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs
· Working on ladders, lifts and scaffold up to 20’ high
· Strong communication skills and basic math skills are necessary
· Knowledge and understanding of use of hand tools, including but not limited to, drywall saw, Rotozip, soldering iron, crimper, heat gun
· Background check, fingerprint required for specific on-site location work
· Local travel required
· Valid driver’s license required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
