S&OP Planner (Sales & Operations Planning)

We are seeking an experienced S&OP Planner to join a growing organization in Dallas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys collaborating across multiple departments to improve forecasting accuracy, optimize inventory, and drive operational performance.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical trends, sales data, and customer demand.
- Balance supply and demand while supporting inventory and customer service objectives.
- Partner with Sales, Production, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Operations to align planning activities.
- Identify inventory risks, capacity constraints, material shortages, and delivery challenges before they impact the business.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend improvements to planning processes.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings.
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-up across cross-functional teams.
- Maintain planning data within ERP systems and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or materials planning.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar planning platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet recurring planning deadlines.
- Mandarin language skills are a plus but not required.
