Road Service Technician

The Road Service Technician is responsible for performing on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on equipment. This position ensures that equipment is operating safely and efficiently by responding to field service calls and providing timely, high-quality service directly at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment at customer locations or job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on rental fleet equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, service managers, and customers regarding job status, repair needs, and estimated timelines.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Operate service vehicles and manage tools, parts inventory, and supplies needed for field repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including after-hours or weekends when required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a field technician or mechanic working with equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic and repair skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
