Job Summary

Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis
- Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Assist in managing client files and maintaining organized case records within the law office management system
- Support attorneys in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions across various practice areas
- Prepare for litigation by gathering evidence, coordinating depositions, and analyzing relevant laws and regulations
- Stay current on developments in estate planning, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, insurance law, and other relevant fields
- Collaborate with team members on legal administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with firm standards
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required
- Proven experience or internship in multiple legal practice areas is preferred but not required
- Strong research skills utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms to locate relevant case law and statutes
- Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting and persuasive memoranda
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and courtroom procedures is advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Legal administrative experience including case management systems is highly desirable
