Position: Entry-Level Landscape Designer (Full or Part-Time Position)
Description:
A design associate position at Rozanski Ward Landscape Architecture provides opportunities to develop
skills in landscape design and construction, as well as administrative coordination. This entry level
position requires both hand and CAD drafting, landscape design, billing, and general office
coordination/support. Strong computer skills are an important component of the job.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Answer phones and email correspondence
• Billing & data entry
• Office organization
• Hand drafting & design
• CAD drafting & design
• Graphic layout & rendering
Requirements:
• A passion for landscape design and construction
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Hand drafting ability
• Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Adobe CS (Primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)
• Horticultural experience
Additional Skills, a Plus:
• Spanish language skills: working proficiency or better
• Mac Quickbooks
• Autodesk AutoCAD 3D
• Sketchup
• Construction materials procurement experience
• Landscape construction/maintenance experience
