What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint-Hanger position at Royston Plant?
Position Summary (major areas of contribution):
Assists in painting operations by hanging all parts to be painted on a moving conveyor for cleaning and painting. Parts must be properly spaced and hung in a manner to drain washing residue and allow paint to dry properly.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
Lift metal parts from pallets and hang with hooks on a moving conveyor.
Parts must be properly spaced and hung in a manner to drain washing residue and allow paint to dry properly.
Arrange paint hooks on conveyor as to different size.
Assure parts which are scheduled to be painted for correct color codes.
Remove all paint hooks from conveyor at end of shift.
Maintain good housekeeping at all times to prevent accidents.
Be aware of and observe safety practices and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
Including Formal Training (courses, degrees, and credentials required):

- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
Experience (type and amount of experience required):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior experience as assembler preferred
- Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
