Press Brake Operator – Southern CaseArts

Retention Bonus Opportunity
New Press Brake Operators hired after April 24 are eligible for the following one-time retention incentives:
- $500 after 90 days of employment
- $500 after 6 months of employment
- $1,000 after 1 year of employment
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
- Work from blueprints and job specifications to produce quality parts
- Inspect parts and perform quality checks throughout production
- Make machine adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and report any defects or material issues
- Load materials and assist with material handling (forklift experience is a plus)
- Use our system to track completed jobs and apply labels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools or equipment
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a hands-on environment
- Ability to read blueprints or a desire to learn
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience operating press brakes or similar machinery
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or sheet metal work
- Experience using measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, protractors)
- Forklift experience
- Experience with ERP systems (NAV or similar)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Comfortable working on concrete floors in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
