What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Production Control position at Royston Plant?
Position Summary (major areas of contribution):
The Production Control Coordinator will execute the manufacturing schedule by generating and distributing shop floor packets to both Fabrication and Finishing.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
Release required work orders and drawings to production when needed.
Perform daily tasks to support production requirements and meet scheduled dates
Schedule all work through the plant when needed
Monitor Safety Stock Levels
Check and process RGA's in a timely manner as they return to Royston
Print required paperwork after release to insure all departments have what is needed
Enter all inventory adjustments accurately
Hands on with physical inventory
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
Including Formal Training (courses, degrees, and credentials required):
High School Diploma or GED
Excellent working knowledge of AS-400 (Movex)
Proven ability to work work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail on analyzing and processing information
Proven ability to maintain composure and focus on the job in a highly intense work environment that is demanding flexibility and sense of urgency in completing required problem resolution, task and projects.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be used to communicate with all levels of employees
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Problem-solving skills
Experience (type and amount of experience required):
Five years of Manufacturing experience which includes both Fabrication and Finishing (preferred)
Excellent Computer Skills
One year Excel experience
One year AS-400 (preferred)

Travel to other plants/warehouse as needed.
