Role Description

As an estimator at Royle Printing, you will collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations to ensure print projects are successfully executed from start to finish. Your key responsibilities include: Reviewing and interpreting project specifications, provided by account executives or clients, to understand scope, materials, and specific requirements.

• Reviewing and interpreting project specifications provided by account executives or clients to understand scope, materials, and specific requirements.
• Analyzing production factors such as paper type, press runs, and finishing production times to create precise cost estimates.
• Developing detailed, accurate quotes that include material costs, labor, equipment use, and additional services.
• Presenting cost-saving alternatives and recommending efficient production methods to enhance the final product.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree, a bachelor's degree is preferred.Proficiency in analyzing technical specifications and understanding production workflows
• Experience: Background in an estimating or accounting position, prior print experience is desired, but not necessarily required.Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent organizational skills
• Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple customer accounts.Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Strong aptitude for learning and troubleshooting new digital tools and software applications.  
• Open to change and capable of adjusting quickly while maintaining productivity and quality.  
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze challenges, draw conclusions, and provide effective recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
