Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director (ED) that will help advance the Roycroft Campus Corporation’s strategic priorities, campaigns and programmatic goals. Utilize strong organizational skills and demonstrate excellent attention-to-detail to managing the Executive office. Use independent decision making to address the best way to handle specific tasks. Creates and maintains organized systems. Advances the mission/vision and culture of the organization with enthusiasm and passion.


RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages the Executive’s schedule daily, which includes coordinating scheduling, booking meetings and appointments.


2. Categorizes, sorts and manages digital and paper files to include Board conflict of interest and ethic forms.


3. Organizes and prioritizes the organization’s emails, correspondence, Board roster and phone calls.


4. Assists with communications, contracts and special projects as directed by the ED.


5. Provides meetings and presentation support with materials preparation and other logistics.


6. Assists with Roycroft’s expansion projects including construction, administrative and grant reporting, fundraising initiatives and related social enterprises.


7. Assists with coordination of Board activities to include new member orientation.


8. Oversees space allocation as directed by the ED. Keeps Visitor Center and Print shop storage areas organized and neat.


SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS


1. Must be able to make decisions independently on a daily basis to choose the best way to handle and prioritize tasks.


2. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and understand the value of collaboration with a diverse group of individuals and the public.


3. Excellent time management with string attention to detail in administrative support, project management and data entry.


4. Excellent phone, writing, communication and organizational skills are essential.


5. Must have a strong work ethic that is detail oriented, creative, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities.


6. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet programs, databases and digital communication.


7. Must be willing to learn about and feel comfortable talking about the Arts & Crafts Movement history.


8. Experience working in a nonprofit organization and/or commitment to RCC’s mission a plus.


Educational Requirements


Minimum educational requirement is high school graduate with 3 to 5 years of secretarial/project management experience. Preferred bachelor’s degree in business related field with corporate secretarial/project experience. Must be committed to the mission/vision of RCC.


Rate of Pay; $24.00 hr. 30-36 hrs. a week.
