Warehouse Associate

ROYCE' Chocolate is a Japanese confections brand with a growing business and following in the US. This position is for our warehouse at Fort Lauderdale. Warehouse Associates who work in this location report directly to ROYCE' Confect USA, the brand's exclusive USA distributor.

Summary of Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare customer orders for delivery and shipment, including lifting 25-50 lbs. product cases, building orders, and driving pallet jacks.

· Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.

· Receive inventory from vendors and ensure its accuracy.

· Unload trucks using pallet jacks.

· Count pallets/cases to verify contents for shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or storage receipts.

· Load product onto trailers after pallet is verified, counted and wrapped.

· Responsible for the safety of outbound loads.

· Responsible for putting away and replenishing pick slots.

Organizing Warehouse Deliveries: Warehouses get deliveries and restocks of chocolates and dry goods every month, or as frequent as operations would require.

1. The biggest case/box with dimensions of19"-16"-22" weighing approximately 14 lbs.

2. The heaviest case/box weighing approximately 25 lbs. with dimensions of 9"-12"-17".

· Inventory Management: Warehouse associates are required to physically count chocolate merchandise and send an inventory report by email. This includes following the First-in, First-out (FIFO) method for inventory management.

· Cleanliness and Organization: Warehouse associates must ensure that the warehouse is organized and cleaned daily. This includes tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: vacuuming, mopping, wiping, and dusting off shelves, among others.

· Dry Goods: Warehouse associates must routinely monitor the use of supplies such as packing materials and cleaning agents (disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizers, disposable gloves) to ensure that the warehouse is always stocked.

Qualifications:

Ideal qualifications include:

· 1 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting.

· Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and the like.

· Solid communication and inventory skills.

· Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift 25-50lbs.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

License:

· Drivers

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8AM-4PM). May be required to report to work on additional days and/ or work earlier and finish later depending on the demands of the business.

Work Availability: Open availability. Overtime and Holiday work is mandatory.
