Responsibilities:
- As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing RBAC, cataloging, metadata, and evaluation framework.
Required Qualifications:
TS/SCI Security Clearance Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in data governance.
Knowledge and capability to establish, enforce, and maintain data governance policies and frameworks across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
Proficient in metadata management, data lineage tracking, data cataloging, and regulatory compliance standards such as DoD IL-4/IL-5, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53 Rev. 5.
Experience with data classification models, access controls, and policy-based data lifecycle management is required.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing data governance frameworks, implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions, and ensuring compliance with DoD and IC data security policies.
Experience with tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview is required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Desirable but not required certifications include: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
