Role Description
This full-time on-site role, requires a dedicated Traveling Superintendent to oversee, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to completion. Responsibilities include supervising on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing schedules and budgets, and collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The Traveling Superintendent will also provide on-site problem-solving and manage resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong construction management expertise, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills to manage project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders effectively
- In-depth knowledge of safety and compliance standards, including OSHA, EM 385, and related certifications
- Technical understanding of construction practices, including renovations, healthcare projects, and design-build methodology
- Experience with renovation construction in medical facilities is highly advantageous
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills for maintaining clear project documentation and reporting
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools such as ProCore, P6, and RMS.
- Must be adaptable and willing to travel as required for project needs
