Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on various construction sites.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and system designs.
• Perform construction estimating tasks to determine material needs, labor hours, and project timelines.
• Conduct welding and pipe fitting tasks to ensure secure connections in complex plumbing assemblies.
• Assist with remodeling, maintenance, and maintenance person projects by applying carpentry, basic math, and mechanical skills.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment and perform manual labor involving heavy lifting to move materials safely around the site.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Support HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system installations when required.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively during field service operations.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related field service roles with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, and general construction principles.
• Experience with construction estimating, remodeling projects, or maintenance person work is highly desirable.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces as needed on job sites.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations in daily tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
