What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dockworker position at Royalton Recycling?
Our company is seeking a General Laborer to work in our warehouse / dock. This position is part of a team responsible for purchasing scrap metal items and preparing them for future shipments. The successful candidate will be reliable, self motivated, follow safety standards, work well in demanding situations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Dress for this position is very casual but requires long pants and safety-toe footwear.
Hours are 7:45AM to 4:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Wednesday 7:45-6PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory.
- Communicate clearly with other employees, supervisors, and customers.
- Perform regular physical labor such as lifting, pushing and pulling objects.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
