What You’ll Do
Help foster a safe work environment as a Safety Coordinator!Opportunities on 1st and 3rd shift! We are looking for at least 1 person per shift.
Note: This is a volunteer opportunity!
Responsibilities
- Responding to safety incidents quickly and calmly
- Administering basic first aid/CPR if needed
- Determining if further treatment is needed (transport to med center or calling 911)
- Assisting in evacuations or shelter-in-place (i.e. fire or tornado)
- In good standing (no active written warnings)
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Not squeamish around blood/bodily fluids
- Sense of urgency
- Good decision making under pressure
- Strong communication
- Able to handle confidential information
- Compassionate
