Salary Range: $21 - $23 per hour
Available Shifts:
AM (7:00a – 3:30p)
- Fri – Sun (Part Time)
- Sat – Sun (Part Time)
PM (3:00p – 11:30P)
- Sat - Sun (Part Time)
We are seeking Behavioral Specialists who are passionate about supporting individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges to join our clinical team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced behavioral health treatment environment where staff play a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic setting for patients.
This position works directly with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges and may involve responding to behavioral escalations and assisting with safety interventions when necessary. Staff must be comfortable working in an active behavioral health environment and supporting safety protocols designed to protect both patients and staff.

As a Behavioral Specialist, you will be an essential part of the clinical team responsible for supporting patient safety, observing behavioral changes, and helping maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring patient safety and behavior throughout the shift
Supporting a structured and therapeutic treatment environment
Observing and reporting changes in behavior or mental status
Assisting patients with daily activities as needed
Responding to behavioral escalations using de-escalation techniques
Assisting nursing staff during behavioral interventions when necessary
Maintaining accurate documentation and incident reporting
Supporting patient engagement within the treatment environment
Collaborating with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary treatment team
Providing clear shift-to-shift communication
This is a hands-on role where staff work directly with patients in a behavioral health setting and help maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and observation skills
Ability to work in a behavioral health environment
Ability to remain calm and professional during behavioral escalations
Ability to assist with safety interventions when necessary
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
Nice to Have:
Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment
Experience in residential treatment or healthcare settings
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience
Crisis intervention or de-escalation training (CPI, SafetyCare, or similar)
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
