Position Summary
Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities as directed to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets
- Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and bathroom fixtures
- Dispose of trash and infectious waste in accordance with regulations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and supplies
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervisor
- Assist with room readiness for new admissions
- Use proper PPE and cleaning chemicals safely
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with residents, staff, and visitors
- No experience required – on-the-job training provided
