You’ll cover ~1,500–2,000 homes, aiming to detail 450–600 cars while training and overseeing your team.
Responsibilities
Sales and Detailing (70%)
- Knock on residential doors in Sonoran Hills to pitch car detailing services (target: 50–100 homes/day).
- Deliver high-quality detailing (exterior wash, wax, light interior vacuum) in ~45–60 minutes per car using portable gear.
- Close 10–15% of pitches (e.g., 8-15 cars/day), adjusting approach based on customer feedback.
- Upsell subscriptions to 10–15% of one-time customers.
- Track homes visited and cars detailed via a simple app or notebook for daily reporting.
Team Management (30%)
- Lead a team of 2 detailers: assign streets (e.g., split 25 streets, ~8–10 each), set daily goals (10–15 cars/person), and ensure quality.
- Coordinate logistics: distribute gear (pressure washers, soap, towels), manage water refills (via a shared 50-gallon tank or support vehicle), and sync schedules.
- Monitor performance: check in mid-shift, troubleshoot issues (e.g., customer no-shows, equipment snags), and keep morale up.
- Report team totals (cars washed, revenue) daily to tweak strategy (e.g., hit cul-de-sacs first).
Requirements
- Experience: No formal experience needed best fit would be 17-23 year old young male professional
- Skills: Strong communication, persuasive pitch, basic leadership (motivate 2 people), time management.
- Physical: Able to walk/stand 8 hours, carry 20–30 lbs of gear (pressure washer, hose), work in Scottsdale heat (80–100°F).
- Personal: 10–15 cars/day (50–75 homes knocked), $400–$600/day gross sales.
