Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator located in Houston, Texas. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to inventory management, supply chain management, and ensuring efficient logistics operations for the company.

Qualifications

• Account Management & Development
• Manage multiple pick-ups and deliveries via telephone and email
• Track and update shipment status to customers
• Tactful and intelligent negotiation of rates and services.
• Carrier Sourcing & Acquisition
• Provide excellent customer service to both shippers and carriers
• Strong Communication and Customer Service abilities

Requirements:

• General computer skills- proficiency with MS Office
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflict
• Excellent and effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service in a transportation environment
• Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
• Experience in Supply Chain Management
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of logistics software and systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
