Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly Bartender/Server to join our team with weekend availability! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, provide exceptional customer service, and the ability to float between the two roles.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and bussing area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell drinks and promote special food offers
- Monitor customer intake to prevent overconsumption and ensure safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bartender/Server or similar role and/or willing to put in the effort to train
- Knowledge of retail math for handling payments accurately
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and various drink recipes
- Proficiency in bartending techniques and drink preparation
- Understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Strong sales skills to promote beverages effectively
- Previous work in the food industry is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions with precision
