Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Associate at Royal Threads. As an important member of our operations, you will be instrumental in the seamless processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. This position supports our busy season operations, which include required overtime and Saturday work. Responsibilities
- Utilize Pallet Jack to handle incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
- Use RF scanner to track inventory accurately
- Manage orders through the Warehouse Management System
- Perform picking, packing, and stocking duties as needed
- Responsible for maintaining all inventory transaction accuracy using ERP system
- Implement and maintained successful Cycle Counting program
- Execute all shipments, meeting schedules and time requirements
- Perform all Shipments and Receiving Duties
- Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Experience
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred
- Familiarity with Distribution Centers and Order Picking processes is advantageous
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems is a plus
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Able to pass drug test/background check
- 1 or more years of experience in a regulated warehouse environment.
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during shift
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Able to work weekends, overtime and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Strong computer skills
Preferred skills
- Proficient in operating Reach truck, RF scanner, Pallet jack, and Order picker
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems for inventory control
- Experience with Shipping/Receiving processes in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Hours
- Full-time
- 7:30 am-4:00 pm
- Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
