Royal Sushi & Izakaya is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Host to join our award-winning team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and understands that exceptional hospitality begins the moment our guests walk through the door.
Owned by James Beard award winning chef Jesse Ito and Royal Restaurant Group, Royal Sushi & Izakaya is committed to creating memorable dining experiences through outstanding service, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Welcome and seat guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest communication using RESY.
- Coordinate seating to maximize service flow while maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams throughout service.
- Assist in planning and executing special guest experiences and VIP reservations.
- Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservation requests.
- Assist management with supervisory and administrative responsibilities, including helping coordinate service and supporting team communication.
- Ensure every guest leaves with an outstanding impression.
- Minimum of 1 years of restaurant hosting or hospitality experience.
- Previous experience with RESY is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
