Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist receiving in unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and distributing to sales associates for processing.
• Create logs for incoming loads, which includes tracking time for receipt of materials and departure time of vendors.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
• Assist in physical inventory every day and at the end of the month for different components. Ensure proper stock rotation
• Safely navigate forklift and movement of materials throughout plant following proper safety guidelines.
• Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Pull and prepare product for production in an efficient manner that meets assembly areas running efficiently without waiting time
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Storage/ move material using a pallet jack or by hand.
• Read labels and understand the construction of the beds
• Push empty metal carts by hand
• Load material to the assembly line lifting two or three pieces at the same time

Working Conditions and Physical Efforts

• Ability to lift / push / pull upwards of 50 lbs
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to push items such as carts and materials

Job Requirements:

• Forklift Certification (current certification)
• Computer knowledge: outlook, excel, word, ERP system navigation

Salary : $18
