The Role:
As a key member of the financial due diligence team, you will take the lead on engagements, mentor high-performing junior staff, and help shape the firm's growth trajectory. You will sharpen your financial analysis, problem-solving, and leadership skills while leveraging automation to drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engagements: Manage financial due diligence projects through all phases, from initial scoping to final delivery.
- Analyze & Report: Prepare and review historical and pro forma financial analyses to assess trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.
- Advise Clients: Clearly communicate deal risks, issues, and opportunities through polished presentations and written reports.
- Mentor & Develop: Supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Technical Research: Conduct technical accounting research to evaluate the implications of key transaction issues.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for internal process improvement through technology adoption and automation.
- Support Growth: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in audit or transaction services
- CPA preferred
- Strong familiarity with fundamental accounting concepts, including GAAP
- Advanced MS Excel skills and the ability to analyze financial information and statements
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
