We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and ensuring that our guests enjoy their dining experience. Please have in mind that on school days you will be working late hours, maybe even until midnight.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
- Operate the POS system to process transactions efficiently.
- Manage cash handling and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including bussing tables and restocking supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or café is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change effectively.
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food handling standards is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
