What are the responsibilities and job description for the RHS Summer School Teachers Grades 9-12 (4 Positions)- Internal only position at Royal School District 160?
Multiple Positions based on enrollment
Credit Retrieval: Tutoring and teaching support for all content areas
Dates: 12 days- 2 days for set up, training, staff meetings and closing classrooms.
Scheduled Days: 6/16, 6/17, 6/18, 6/20, 6/23, 6/24, 6/25, 6/26, 6/27, 6/30
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., 5 hours daily
Pay: $282.44-$587.37 Per Diem
- Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation for students. Provide progress reports to parents. Coordinate these activities with the educational assistant and the building principal.
- Emphasis on English language development in all grade levels and subject areas.
- Previous successful teaching experience for the grade level, during regular year or summer school, is preferred.
- Strong desire to work with at-risk students.
- Strong desire to tutor, support, teach students on credit retrieval contracts
- Strong desire to collaborate with summer school teachers and divide students based on credit retrieval needs
Preferred Staff Qualifications:
- Experience in working with at-risk and English Learners

Appropriate certification required
- Experience at grade level preferred
- Experience with curriculum preferred
Salary: $305.19- $634.67 per diem based on Education and Experience, 2024-25 REA Salary Schedule
