Job Description:
- Organize and monitor the First Robotics League teams
- Nurture a sense of ownership among team members for their team's project and core values.
- Display kindness, patience, and professionalism.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines of the FIRST Robotics program.
- Recent experience with FIRST Lego League Robotics
- Recent experience working with fourth-sixth grade students
- Experience leading a competitive FIRST Lego League team
- Liaison between team members, mentors, parents, and volunteers; communicate expectations to parents and students about what is expected of them
- Be available to coach the team twice per week in the fall, with meetings increasing during the period leading up to the competition. Meetings vary based on the activities needed to ensure preparedness for all upcoming on/off-season events.
- Must meet state requirements for COVID 19 vaccination or an exemption to the COVID 19 vaccination as a condition of employment by the first day of work or October 18, 2021, whichever is later.
- Teach students the principles of Robotics
Terms of Employment:
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 2-4 days per week from 3:30-5:15
Pay: Stipend $3,500.00
