Commercial Roofing Estimator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Project Estimator to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within the construction industry, demonstrating proficiency in coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring project quality. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documents, blueprints and plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Create and revise estimates, budgets and schedules for commercial projects.
• Create and maintain labor and material budgets for the project.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
• Manage bids from vendors and contractors.
• Present prepared estimates to management and construction team.
• Compile and record actual costs against budget cost for more accurate estimating in future projects.
• Assist and help manage Royal’s contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Update, and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
• Assist with managing budgets and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
• Adhere to the company Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program.
• Cooperate with field operations processes & procedures as needed.
• Work with the accounting department during the monthly payment application process and follow up to ensure payment is received as per contract guidelines.
• Inform management on progress of projects and budgets, and any changes to budgets and make appropriate changes.
• Create project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and specific project elements.
• Adhere to company data backup procedure, maintain clear and concise records of projects and documentation as per company policy.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
