Summary
We are seeking a passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team in Georgetown Kentucky. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and educating young children, contributing to their development and well-being within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of each child.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting.
- Provide support for children with special needs as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED
- Proven experience working in daycare or preschool settings.
- Ability to develop lesson plans that meet educational standards.
- Familiarity with classroom management skills and Kentucky regulations.
- Willing to complete professional development training to stay compliant with Kentucky regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience with Behavioral Health children is a plus.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment for children.
- First aid certification is a plus.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
