Job Overview
Royal Plumbing Heating & AC is looking for an experienced Plumbing Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop our growing field service team.
We are looking for someone with strong sales and leadership experience who understands the home-service industry and knows how to turn service opportunities into profitable sales while maintaining a great customer experience.
This is a hands-on management position. You will work directly with our technicians, review sales performance, follow up on unsold estimates, assist with larger opportunities, and help improve the overall sales process.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach the sales performance of field technicians
- Review estimates, close rates, average tickets, and overall sales performance
- Follow up on unsold estimates and open customer opportunities
- Assist technicians with larger repair and replacement sales
- Train technicians on presenting multiple repair and replacement options
- Coach technicians on communication, customer service, and closing techniques
- Help develop Good / Better / Best options for customers
- Promote financing options when appropriate
- Identify lost sales opportunities and improve follow-up procedures
- Monitor pricing and discounts to help maintain company profitability
- Conduct regular sales meetings and one-on-one coaching
- Work closely with Operations and Dispatch
- Provide ownership with weekly sales-performance reports
- Help develop and implement sales processes as the company grows
Qualifications
- Previous sales management or leadership experience
- Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or home-service industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong sales, closing, and communication skills
- Experience coaching and motivating a team
- Ability to review sales numbers and identify areas for improvement
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Comfortable holding team members accountable for performance
- Professional appearance and communication
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $62,347.24 - $75,084.84 per year
