Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and waste disposal in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and perform repairs
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow within plumbing systems
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, materials, and personnel to various job sites
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems and troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC or water systems
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential and commercial environments
- Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams
- Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, HVAC components, and plumbing system maintenance
- Skilled in drain cleaning techniques using specialized equipment; familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and construction site machinery safely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Experience interpreting technical drawings and schematics; basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations; experience with remodeling or assembly projects is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to operate company vehicles responsibly
- Handyman experience or carpentry skills are beneficial for versatile project support
