What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson position at Royal Plaza Inc?
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assists Housekeepers as required
- Delivering requested items to guest rooms
- Reports any damage or missing items to Housekeeping Manager or Maintenance
- Houseman duties including trash, mopping and vacuuming
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed sweeping/mopping common guest areas, keeping stairwells clean, and shampooing carpets and hallways when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the hotel parking lot, hotel public areas, restrooms and meeting rooms
- Assist in other departments/areas of the hotel as needed
Experience:
- It requires the ability to lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Must have good guest service and communication skills
- Complete written communication in order to keep management informed.
- Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, weekends and holidays
