Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and customer spaces.
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light bites when needed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is highly preferred.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
