Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard role based in Slidell, LA. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment for clients and their assets through patrols, access control, and vigilant monitoring of the premises. Duties include responding to incidents, providing excellent customer service to visitors and clients, enforcing safety regulations, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. Security Guards will act as the first line of defense, ensuring compliance with security protocols and addressing potential safety risks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships.
- Experience in physical security, including performing patrols, monitoring property, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Understanding of personnel security and private security practices, including managing access control and identifying potential risks.
- Proficiency in handling security equipment and a strong commitment to remaining alert and vigilant at all times.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with dependability and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Must have or be willing to obtain any required state security licenses or certifications specific to Louisiana.
- Physical ability to handle extended periods of standing, walking, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
