• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods confidently while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Upsell products and suggest additional items to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly manner
• Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the sales area is clean and inviting
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels

Qualifications

• Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays efficiently
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is beneficial but not required
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
