Duties
- Provide direct care and support to clients across all shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration following prescribed protocols.
- Conduct intake assessments and document client information accurately through data entry, filing, and data collection processes.
- Manage behavioral challenges using effective behavior management techniques and conflict resolution skills to de-escalate crises.
- Supervise group activities and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, maintaining a secure environment.
- Collaborate with team members on case management plans, progress notes, and incident reports to support client goals.
- Perform routine security checks, first aid if necessary, and respond promptly to emergencies or crisis situations using crisis intervention skills.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Experience
- Prior supervising experience in a residential treatment center or social services setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention, conflict management, or behavioral health is essential.
- Background in childcare, or home & community care enhances your ability to connect with clients effectively
- Proven skills in data entry, filing, and medication administration are required for success in this role.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Qualifications
Must pass a background and drug screening
Have a valid Driver's license
Have a HS diploma or GED
Have dependable transportation
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
