Job Description
Class A CDL Driver
Looking for a Local Class A CDL Driver who is energetic, personable, reliable and safety focused to work for Royal Oak Recycling, one of the largest independent recycling companies in the Midwest
You should enjoy meeting people and be familiar with area nuances, such as back roads and traffic patterns. You must have consistent and reliable attendance and practice Safety First, Last and Always!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is primarily drop and hook, with limited touch freight.
- Typical 10-12 hour days with a start time 5am or earlier
- Tractor trailer (day cab, 53' trailer)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of prior experience as a CDL A driver
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One year of prior experience driving commercial trucks as a CDL A driver or equivalent military experience.
- You MUST be able to travel intrastate routes
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid DOT Medical Card/ Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
