Job Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants to warehouse
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Needs to be able to operate a forklift
- Knowledgeable with paper and/or electronic logs.
- Possess strong time management skills and be able to work well independently without immediate supervision.
- A valid CDL A license required
- Forklift operation experience required
High School Diploma/GED required
Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work extended hours
- Ability to work in extreme environmental temperatures
- Casual manufacturing environment; Comfortable attire appropriate for manual labor environment
