The Maintenance Foreman employee assists with the supervision of all personnel in the Facilities department. The Foreman provides instruction and, alongside personnel, performs duties to accomplish tasks.
This position requires a high degree of skill in electrial; as well as moderate degree of skill in related trades including air conditioning, plumbing, and mechanics.

A typical day for the Maintenance Foreman employee may include the following responsibilities
- Complete assigned projects utilizing skills across a variety of trades, and prioritize tasks to meet applicable deadlines.
- Provide Facilities management with accurate list of materials and equipment required to complete projects.
- Regularly monitor equipment to ensure proper functioning and monitor in-house par of supplies to support day-to-day maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high degree of skill and knowledge in electrical trade. Two years of professional maintenance experience is also a requirement for this position, with strong preference for experience in a hotel/resort setting with high levels of guest interaction, and previous superivsory experience is strongly desired.
The ideal candidate also possesses a strong work ethic, excellent time management ability, a natural aptitude for guest service and the ability to engage each guest to ensure a satisfactory stay.

- Literacy skills to speak, read and write in the English language.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
- High skill in the use of hand and power tools.
- Efficient communication skills.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time and engage in considerable physical activity on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work independently with high output.
