Beach Attendant

Job Summary
The Beach Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of the beach and lagoon areas. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, luxury beach experience for guests by providing equipment setup, assistance, and attentive service aligned with the values of Royal Hawaiian Beach Services, Ko Olina.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service to all guests and visitors
• Set up and break down beach equipment including umbrellas, lounge chairs, cabanas, and activity gear
• Assist guests with rentals, seating arrangements, and general beach services
• Monitor assigned beach areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
• Educate guests on ocean safety, weather conditions, and company policies
• Maintain inventory and report any damaged or missing equipment
• Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to create a seamless and enjoyable guest experience
• Support special events and VIP setups as needed
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in hospitality, beach services, or customer service preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in sun, heat, wind, and ocean conditions
• Basic knowledge of ocean safety is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
