Royal Gorge Bridge & Park Ride Operator
This beautiful Colorado park is now hiring for positions starting March 2. This is a temporary/seasonal position. Customer service skills, standing, pulling, pushing, lifting and walking required. Must be 18 or older. Work the fun attractions like Skycoaster, ZipRider, Gondolas, Carousel, People Mover, or Via Ferrata. Flexible schedules, 32-40 hours per week.
Ride Operators will be cross-trained on the rides in the park. Ride operators are expected to maintain the day to day activities of the ride insuring a safe, smooth, hospitable and efficient operation for guests. Operators may be working at elevated heights.
Essential functions (not an all inclusive list):
- Insure safe operation of the ride by following approved procedures;
- Providing customer service for all guests;
- Must be 18 years of age;
- Able to work weekends and holidays;
- Must be able to work outdoors, push, pull, lift, and stand for long periods of time;
- If a ride is an extra pay feature, ability to run a cash register;
- Ability to instruct guests, secure harnesses and equipment where applicable;
- A background check may be conducted upon conditional offer of employment
- Drug screen will be performed.
- Some ride operator positions will require a Driver’s License with a good record.
- Will include being trained for the Via Ferrata, a mountain climbing experience.
Hourly Wage Scale: $16.46-$17.75
Salary : $16 - $18
