Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Manager
Status: Full-Time | 1st shift hours, must be able to work weekends & overtime as needed
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operation.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (110V, 208V, 460V)

Rebuild motors, gearboxes, and pumps
-
Fabricate and repair conveyors, frames, and production components
-
Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding
-
Repair air lines and pneumatic systems
-
Install and wire cameras and Redzone sensors

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
-
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment
-
Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
-
Work safely at heights over 50 feet

Maintain accurate maintenance records
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred

5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred)

Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills

Fabrication and welding experience required

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to read, write, and speak English

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Manufacturing environment with cold and wet conditions (35–38°F)

Must wear PPE, including steel-toe shoes

Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Salary : $30 - $32
