Outside Golf Services Attendant – The Royal Fox Country Club
Job Summary
The Outside Golf Services Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests by conducting the Golf Operations outside services efficiently. This position is usually the first person a member or guest sees and interacts with when they arrive at the club, so being alert, attentive, hospitable, and helpful is of utmost importance.
Day-to-Day
- Assist golfers by greeting every single member and guest, unloading and loading golf bags, cleaning clubs, preparing bag tags, and preparing golfers for play ensuring all their needs are anticipated, special requests are met to create meaningful moments, and questions are answered. Acknowledge, Offer, Assist, assist, assist, and follow through.
- Assist golfers after their rounds by cleaning clubs thoroughly, delivering them to their cars as needed and refreshing the golf carts for more use. Preparing and maintaining the practice facilities for member use.
- Each day, learn about events at the Club occurring that day that will be helpful information to the Member and/or Guest(s).
- Assist and coordinate services with other golf operations staff such as starters, golf shop staff and taking directions from the Golf Professional Staff to ensure seamless and efficient service to Members/Guests takes place.
- Must be able to interact with Members/Guests courteously and professionally.
About You
- You are hospitable, calm under pressure, can take direction and provide immediate solutions.
- Customer service experience is a must. Basic Golf Knowledge and Etiquette are helpful but not required.
- You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
- You are selfmotivated in preparing/maintaining your area and anticipating the needs of members and guests to remain one step ahead of them at all times.
Previous golf course/club experience is preferred but not necessary, candidates must display excellent customer service.
This seasonal position will terminate when the golf course closes for the year with the opportunity to resume work in the spring when the course opens.
This is a gratuity position with an hourly wage.
