Join the grooming team at Royal Dog Boarding! We are looking to hire a full-time groomer to run our busy dog spa.

Hydraulic grooming table, grooming room with large window for lots of natural light, fully stocked break room, and all supplies & equipment purchased for you.

Set your own schedule, bring your own clients or use our network to keep yourself as busy as you'd like.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog’s breed and individual needs
• Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures
• Assess each dog’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming plans
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to adhere to health standards
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize productivity while ensuring quality care for each pet

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of breed-specific cuts and styles
• Skilled in dog training, animal handling, and pet care techniques to ensure safe and gentle grooming sessions
• Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet sitting, kennel experience, and heavy lifting required for managing larger dogs or multiple pets
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
