Overview
SUMMARY:

The Marketing: Customer Associate reports to the Sr. Manager, Customer Marketing and provides Customer Marketing leadership with a focus on customers, sales, research, and insights. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing all customer marketing activities in partnership with Sales and Equipment. As the Marketing: Customer Associate, you will be a dedicated partner, who can work autonomously, focused on customer insights and marketing & sales principles to grow the book of business through acquisition, growth, and retention strategies. You will support cross-functional team projects in support of Marketing or Foodservice Leadership Team Initiatives.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works collaboratively with Sales, Equipment, and the Senior Customer Marketing Manager to develop Customer Driven Solutions for the marketplace.
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of category offerings and communication tools to meet customer expectations that are aligned with company efficiencies and positioning.
  • Delivers against established KPIs and metrics.
  • Marketing Point of Contact for assigned key customers.
  • Works cooperatively with the Senior Customer Marketing Manager to develop a coordinated marketing strategy, ensuring all marketing goals are aligned with the Sales Strategy.
  • Accountable for collaborating with assigned Sales Divisions.
  • Prepare bi-annual benchmarking reports for sales business units.
  • Create marketing materials to support customer, sales, and equipment opportunities.
  • Develops tools and solutions that align with KPIs, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Generates customer, channel, and sales trend updates for key meetings or periodic updates.
  • Provide industry insights to establish Royal Cup as best in class manufacturer and supplier.
  • All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or another related field preferred (Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.)
  • Prior Marketing Experience
  • 5 years of relevant customer marketing experience.
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a self-starter.
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Strong financial, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  • Positive Attitude.
  • Proficient (ability to become an expert) in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe InDesign, and CRM.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required based on business needs, often requiring overnight stay to attend meetings, trade shows, training, and other work-related events as scheduled.
  • The ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior relevant experience in the food service industry and B2B marketing.
  • Coffee or Tea experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, typing, reading, talking, and hearing.
  • The ability to lift up to 15 pounds with or without assistance.
